Robertson National School, Stranorlar Welcomes a New BMP Garden Greenhouse!

BMP Garden polycarbonate greenhouse brings us more joy than seeing our greenhouses put to fantastic use in local communities across Ireland. Recently, we had the absolute pleasure of delivering and setting up a brand-new greenhouse for Robertson National School, located in Co. Donegal!

This exciting project gives students a dedicated, hands-on outdoor classroom where they can discover the magic of gardening, healthy eating, and caring for the environment.

Hands-On Learning Inside the Greenhouse

Gardening provides children with practical, real-world skills that go far beyond standard textbooks. With their new BMP Garden greenhouse, students at Robertson NS will get to roll up their sleeves and experience the full growing cycle from start to finish.

Inside this protected space, students will learn:

• Seed Germination & Plant Care: Watching tiny seeds sprout into thriving plants through daily care, watering, and monitoring.
• Growing Fresh Produce: Discovering how everyday vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, carrots, and herbs are grown organically.
• Understanding Ecosystems: Learning about soil health, pollinators, temperature control, and the water cycle in an interactive setting.
• Teamwork & Responsibility: Sharing gardening duties, recording plant growth, and taking pride in harvesting their own crops.
